Anne Arundel County Youth Soccer League (AAYSL) is a large league, well-run county-wide league under the auspices of the Anne Arundel Park and Recs office. AAYSL is an intro-to-competitive league for players U8 to U18 that ASA uses for both further recreational play and and for young team perparation for travel soccer. ASA is one of the largest AAYSL participants.
The Recreational program is for players U4 to U10 to learn soccer, have fun, and take any future pathways players chose. ASA Rec/Development is a blend of classic Rec Soccer, with additional team development methods, and a supplemental player-focused academy-style Grassroots program.
All programs are intended to inter-connect, providing a potential progression in one club to play from age 3 "Mini"-soccer all the way to adults reaching professional level. Arundel Soccer's intent is to create player opportunity with many teams at all levels so that players are unrestricted by teams, and can play at anytime to their full potential.
