Keeper Academy

Arundel Soccer presents:

ASA Keeper Academy
The ASA Keeper Academy is open for registration

Keeper Academy for Developing Goalies:

Arundel Soccer Association announces its Keeper Academy for all league level keepers.  The Academy is part of ASA’s support to teams, and is free for ASA player goalies.  The Academy serves to provide continuing education and development of players learning the keeper position.
The ASA Keeper Academy lead trainer is Coach Steve King, assistant coach at UMBC and currently at John's Hopkins University.  Coach King is also a staff coach for both the Men's and Women's Charge teams in NPSL and WPSL.

The Keeper Academy sessions will be held once per week on a schedule intended to avoid most common team practice days and times, in order to allow both team practice and the technical sessions.  Sessions will be by appropriate age groups starting at age U11.  Sessions will begin pre-season and run through the season each spring and fall.

Players wishing additional training may make arrangements for an additional fee.

Sign-ups will be taken to create age groups and plan session days and times.  Once complete, players will be contacted to confirm their planned attendance.  Each team may sign up a maximum of two keepers (no exceptions), who have demonstrated interest in playing the keeper position.  Players should plan on regularly attending sessions.

Sign-Ups for Spring are now closed.  Registrations for Fall will open this summer.  Players are being contacted now by coaching staff to make arrangements.
