Rec Development Program

The Recreactional/Development Program is where all players under the age of 8 start.  It runs from ages 3 through 10.  It is our only co-ed program, and the focus of the program is on having fun, being active, and learning soccer skills.  Players have two practices each week and a game on Saturday each weekend.

The Rec/Development program is broken into four age groups covering the age and skill levels needed to prepare players best in progression.  These are Under-4 Mini-Strikers, U5/U6 Clinic, U7/U8 Juniors and U9/U10 Seniors.

Registration Timeline

Registration is open from mid-November through mid-March for Spring season (March through May) and from June through mid-August for Fall (September through early November).  We will register players as long as we have room to place them, and there are no late fees, but the discount for early registration is not applied.

Costs

Our standard pricing is $90 per season and includes a uniform you keep.  A discount of $10 is automatically given during sign-up if registration is completed before the end of "open" registration.  Uniforms are included and are yours to keep.

Practices

Practices will begin after the "Back To Soccer" organizational meeting that starts each season.  Practices are typically on M/W or T/Th and are determined by each team.  Typically, practices are 60 to 90 minutes depending on the age of the players.

Games

Games are played on Saturdays at Arundel High School/Middle School.

All Rec/Development Program coaches are volunteers, regardless of experience.  Coaches receive training and are eligible for licensing, with many coaches alsready holding significant experience or license levels.  If you are interested in becoming a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, please note this at registration and contact Coaching@ArundelSoccer.com.
